Building Stand-alone Infrastructure

Kanagawa Institute of Technology (KAIT)

Water from air

Water supply is one of the essential life line which must be maintained for every ocasion. We are developing a water production machine for use in emergencies that does not rely on conventional infrastructure, including logistics and power supply, which means a stand-alone water supply system. The goal is that the system condenses moisture in the air by cooling it, removes undesirable components from the liquefied water, and stores the water as microbiologically sufficient for drinking.
